Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026.
Jayvin Consulting Inc. follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
From this website: only what you choose to send us when you contact us, such as your name, email address, organisation and a short description of your needs. From clients: the financial records needed to do the work, through access you grant to your accounting software and documents you share.
How we use it
To reply to you, to provide and invoice our services, and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use client data to train AI models.
AI tools and service providers
We use AI tools and cloud software (for example QuickBooks Online and AI assistants) to prepare work that a person then reviews. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Some may store data outside Canada; ask us for the current list.
How long we keep it
Client records are kept for the period required by Canadian tax law (generally six years) and then deleted or returned. Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted within twelve months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and withdraw consent, subject to legal retention requirements.
